24-7 Intouch To Provide Flexible Paid Time Off To All Manitoba Employees To Receive COVID-19 Vaccinations
WINNIPEG, Manitoba, May 3, 2021 – 24-7 Intouch, headquartered in Winnipeg and global leader in contact center and technology solutions, announced today that it will provide flexible paid time off to all Manitoba employees to receive COVID-19 vaccinations when they become eligible.
“With over 3,000 Manitoba-based employees, we understand the responsibility we carry in the community,” said Greg Fettes, CEO of 24-7 Intouch. “We recognize the importance of being a positive business leader and challenge other Manitoba companies to follow suit, if they can.”
Based on the feedback and needs of its employees, 24-7 Intouch has made it easy for them to take advantage of vaccine appointments as they become eligible. Employees are encouraged to participate and will not be financially penalized for doing so.
“Our employees will not lose out on any income to do their part in keeping our communities safe,” said Fettes. “It’s up to us as Manitobans and as leaders in the community to be out in front of vaccination efforts across the province. By giving our employees paid time off, two hours for each vaccination, we do just that.”
With the majority of its employees still working from home, 24-7 Intouch has developed its own Global Wellness Framework including resource guides for all its employees, along with access to virtual professional counselling, healthcare, financial and legal advice, and work-life services through the Company’s Employee & Family Assistance Program.
